Four Eyes

I always thought I could see perfectly well.  It never crossed my mind that I might be missing out on things.  Until I went for my first eye test, at which I discovered that everyone else could see a lot more than me.  Including my brother who to add insult to injury could read the bottom line off without pause for thought.  My mum had had her suspicions when I wondered why ‘our’ bus always drove straight past the bus stop without stopping to let us on.
